There aren’t too many words for 2011. Most of it I don’t want to remember or look back on, which makes me really happy to start fresh for 2012. It’s funny, because I vaguely remember my post from last year about how 2010 was the “best year ever” and this is quite the opposite.
But I will reflect on some of the positive things, because as much negative, there are always positive and I am blessed.
2011 brought me my baby, Chip. Bizarre how I could go from a dog-disliker to dog-obsessed. He is literally my favorite thing in life. I performed in my first and last Mainstage production at NP. 2011 was the year of New Paltz college graduation, saying goodbye to best friends and beginning the biggest adventure of all, life. 2011 crushed my dreams but then pushed me to embark on new and bigger ones. I changed my life around and worked past my issues. I worked on 4 TV shows and 1 movie. I lost a job that I thought I loved but found 10 better ones. I became a “real” teacher. I loved more and more each day.
I really feel like 2012 is going to be an exciting year. I’m ready.
